About Sunita Gordon
I’m proud to serve as one of your elected councillors for the London Borough of Sutton, where I lead on Resources and chair the Sutton Shareholdings Board, overseeing the council’s investment arm. My role involves ensuring that public money is spent wisely and delivers real value to our communities.
Wallington North isn’t just the ward I represent – it’s home. I’ve lived here for most of my life, raised my family here, and care deeply about what makes our area special, from the green open spaces of Beddington Park, St Mary’s Playing Fields and Wallington Green, to our much-loved schools like Wallington County Grammar, Holy Trinity Primary and Beddington Infants (where I serve as a school governor). My focus has always been on helping people and places thrive, where everyone can feel proud to belong.
We have excellent rail connections to central London, a vibrant mix of restaurants and pubs, and a strong sense of neighbourliness. I work hard to make sure Wallington North remains a safe, green, clean and welcoming place for everyone who calls it home.
