Today is an opportunity to recognise the achievements, resilience, and contributions of women in every part of our communities from those leading in public life and business, to those supporting families, volunteering locally, and quietly making a difference every day.

Progress towards equality has been hard-won, and while much has been achieved, there is still more to do to ensure that opportunity, respect, and leadership are open to everyone.

International Women’s Day is also a moment to acknowledge the many men who champion, support, and stand alongside women as partners in that progress. Real change happens when we work together.

Today, we celebrate women’s achievements, reflect on the progress made, and renew our commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive society for future generations. 💜
