Wallington Green Remembrance Commemorations

Wallington residents gathered this weekend to honour and remember all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. The commemorations spanned two days, starting with a brief service and wreath-laying at Wallington Town Hall on Saturday, followed by the main Remembrance Service on Sunday at the War Memorial.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces from throughout the community, including veterans, local groups, uniformed organisations, councillors, and residents all participating in such a heartfelt tribute. Moments like these remind us how strong community spirit is here in Wallington and how vital it is to continue coming together to honour those who gave so much.
