🌿 Elm Pond, Wallington Update 🌿

We wanted to provide residents with an update regarding the planned works at Elm Pond.

At this stage, we do not yet have a confirmed start date. The work involved is more complex than originally anticipated, particularly because Elm Pond is an environmentally sensitive site, and this has meant the planning process is taking longer than expected.

The Council has been working with specialist contractors, and our Parks team is currently finalising the technical details needed for the project. This is an important step to ensure the work is carried out to a high standard and to help protect and improve the pond environment for the future.

We appreciate residents’ patience while this work is being prepared. As soon as the tendering process is complete and a start date is confirmed, we will keep everyone updated.
